Beth Burnett

Storyteller

I’m a college instructor teaching Early British Lit and English Composition. I am a teacher with the GCLS Writing Academy giving classes on plot and story, creating natural dialogue, character development, basic grammar, and POV.

I have given presentations at various conferences on the craft of writing, self-care for writers, and beta reading.

I have done countless author readings and panels on everything from creating conflict in fiction to injecting humor into your writing and I have moderated author spotlights and panels.

I gave a keynote presentation on diversity and inclusion in literature at the Libary of Michigan’s Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Library Conference in Acme, Michigan.

I am available for library talks, bookstore events, and other celebrations of books and authors.
